Adath Jeshurun

Simchat Torah Fun Family Program at AJ

Thursday October 20, 2011

Simchat Torah is a celebration of the Torah. If you’re looking for a fun Jewish holiday to celebrate with your children, this is it!

There will be singing, dancing, games, treats for the kids, and everyone will be called up to the Torah for a group aliyah as we “rewind” from the end of the scroll back to the beginning.
• 6:45 p.m. Ice Cream Sundae Party
• 7:00 p.m. “Jewpardy” Game
• 7:30 p.m. Dancing with the Torahs

Cost: FREE, but please RSVP so that we have enough ice cream for everyone! RSVP to AJ Family Program Coordinator, Riva Schanker at Riva411@insightbb.com or 618‑1444.

Please note that we tried to time this program so that families can have dinner at home before they attend, and can still get little ones to bed at a reasonable hour.
