A Spe­cial Night of Appre­ci­a­tion for AJ Mem­bers… You ALL make it happen!

All AJ mem­bers are invited to attend a mem­ber appre­ci­a­tion event along with a ded­i­ca­tion of our new Charles and Jean K. Ersk­ine Audi­to­rium!

Addi­tion­ally, help us ded­i­cate our newly-renovated large audi­to­rium. In 1997, Adath Jeshu­run received our largest gift ever, in our 153-year his­tory. The gift was received from AJ mem­bers, Charles and Jean Ersk­ine in honor of their love for our shul. In keep­ing with their spec­i­fi­ca­tions, upon their death, two new funds were cre­ated at Adath Jeshu­run. The Charles and Jean Ersk­ine Lec­ture Series was cre­ated to pro­vide us with oppor­tu­ni­ties to hear nationally-known speak­ers at Adath Jeshu­run. The Ersk­ines would be so pleased to know that their fund is being used to pro­vide the new Live from the 92nd Street Y series of speak­ers to Louisville’s Jew­ish community.

It was also impor­tant to the Ersk­ines to have a por­tion of their syn­a­gogue build­ing ded­i­cated in their mem­ory. We are so proud to be able to announce that our large audi­to­rium will hence forth be known as The Charles and Jean K. Ersk­ine Auditorium.

8:30 p.m. Dessert Recep­tion and Meet-and-Greet with Stan­ley Yerlow
