The AJ Website is being renovated
Please consult the current issue of The Messenger for the latest information
on events and happenings at Congregation Adath Jeshurun.
All AJ members are invited to attend a member appreciation event along with a dedication of our new Charles and Jean K. Erskine Auditorium!
Additionally, help us dedicate our newly-renovated large auditorium. In 1997, Adath Jeshurun received our largest gift ever, in our 153-year history. The gift was received from AJ members, Charles and Jean Erskine in honor of their love for our shul. In keeping with their specifications, upon their death, two new funds were created at Adath Jeshurun. The Charles and Jean Erskine Lecture Series was created to provide us with opportunities to hear nationally-known speakers at Adath Jeshurun. The Erskines would be so pleased to know that their fund is being used to provide the new Live from the 92nd Street Y series of speakers to Louisville’s Jewish community.
It was also important to the Erskines to have a portion of their synagogue building dedicated in their memory. We are so proud to be able to announce that our large auditorium will hence forth be known as The Charles and Jean K. Erskine Auditorium.
7:00 p.m. Dedication followed by “Jemmy” Awards and Special Recognition of Ed Bornstein, who spearheaded our renovation
