Adath Jeshu­run pro­vides a full range of wor­ship oppor­tu­ni­ties includ­ing a daily morn­ing and evening minyan.

Shab­bat and Fes­ti­val Ser­vices:
9:15 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

Daily Minyan:
7:15 a.m.* and 5:45 p.m.

Sun­day and Hol­i­day Minyan:
8:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

*Morn­ing Ser­vices On Civil Hol­i­days (such as Labor Day, Thanks­giv­ing, etc. except if it is Sat­ur­day) will be at 8:45 a.m.

5:45 p.m. Kab­balat Shab­bat ser­vice is held fol­low­ing refreshments

Sat­ur­day Morn­ing Wor­ship Ser­vice
9:15 a.m. Includ­ing Torah read­ing on the Tri­en­nial cycle

Our Fri­day evening Kab­balat Shab­bat ser­vice (5:45 p.m.; held fol­low­ing refresh­ments) is a won­der­ful intro­duc­tion to AJ worship.

Spe­cial ser­vices through the year

AJ Baby Shab­bat
Shab­bat ser­vice in which our youngest and newest mem­bers are honored.

Monthly Cel­e­bra­tion Shab­bat
A spe­cial group aliyah hon­ors those con­gre­gants hav­ing birth­days and/or anniver­saries each month.

Minyanaire Shab­bat
Those indi­vid­u­als who reg­u­larly attend minyan ser­vices gather to daven together on a given Shab­bat. The Minyanaire of the Year is announced, fol­lowed by a kid­dush held in honor of our minyanaires.

High Holy Day Services

Tra­di­tional High Holy Day Ser­vice
Held in the Shapira Sanc­tu­ary, the Rabbi and Can­tor lead ser­vices with par­tic­i­pa­tion by the A.J. Choir.

Inter­gen­er­a­tional High Holy Day Ser­vice
This ser­vice is held in the Rae & Gary Shapira Audi­to­rium and includes more Eng­lish read­ings, more expla­na­tions, and the oppor­tu­nity for con­gre­gants to wor­ship together with their chil­dren and grandchildren.

Lay-Led Tra­di­tional High Holy Day Ser­vice
Held in the Switow Chapel, mem­bers of our con­gre­ga­tion lead the tra­di­tional ser­vice in a small inti­mate setting.

Sit­ter Ser­vice is avail­able dur­ing Shab­bat and Fes­ti­val morn­ing ser­vices, and fre­quently dur­ing other major events. Equip­ment is pro­vided for the hearing-impaired. Braille edi­tions of the sid­dur are also available.
