Adath Jeshurun provides a full range of worship opportunities including a daily morning and evening minyan.
Shabbat and Festival Services:
9:15 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.
Daily Minyan:
7:15 a.m.* and 5:45 p.m.
Sunday and Holiday Minyan:
8:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.
*Morning Services On Civil Holidays (such as Labor Day, Thanksgiving, etc. except if it is Saturday) will be at 8:45 a.m.
Friday Evening Family Service
5:45 p.m. Kabbalat Shabbat service is held following refreshments
Saturday Morning Worship Service
9:15 a.m. Including Torah reading on the Triennial cycle
Our Friday evening Kabbalat Shabbat service (5:45 p.m.; held following refreshments) is a wonderful introduction to AJ worship.
AJ Baby Shabbat
Shabbat service in which our youngest and newest members are honored.
Monthly Celebration Shabbat
A special group aliyah honors those congregants having birthdays and/or anniversaries each month.
Minyanaire Shabbat
Those individuals who regularly attend minyan services gather to daven together on a given Shabbat. The Minyanaire of the Year is announced, followed by a kiddush held in honor of our minyanaires.
Traditional High Holy Day Service
Held in the Shapira Sanctuary, the Rabbi and Cantor lead services with participation by the A.J. Choir.
Intergenerational High Holy Day Service
This service is held in the Rae & Gary Shapira Auditorium and includes more English readings, more explanations, and the opportunity for congregants to worship together with their children and grandchildren.
Lay-Led Traditional High Holy Day Service
Held in the Switow Chapel, members of our congregation lead the traditional service in a small intimate setting.
Sitter Service is available during Shabbat and Festival morning services, and frequently during other major events. Equipment is provided for the hearing-impaired. Braille editions of the siddur are also available.
