Wise Aging – with Joy, Resilience and Spirit
Led by Rabbi Laura Metzger, Trained by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality
And Rabbi Beth Jacowitz Chottiner
Some call it Second Adulthood. Others call it the stage of life with no road map. Whatever we call it, we ask ourselves how to take on this stage of our lives with awareness, intention, wisdom and spirit.
Congregation Adath Jeshurun, Temple Shalom and Jewish Family and Career Services, with financial support from the Jewish Heritage Fund for Excellence, are partnering to offer two new Wise Aging peer groups: a Thursday evening group at Temple Shalom and a Sunday morning group at Adath Jeshurun. Each group will meet regularly from November to March.
Wise Aging is open to the community. If you’re interested in finding out more, please attend one of our information sessions. We have both a morning and evening option from which to choose:
Wise Aging Information Sessions
Sunday, August 20 10:00 a.m. Adath Jeshurun, 2401 Woodbourne Ave.
Thursday, August 31 7:00 p.m. Temple Shalom, 4615 Lowe Rd.
