The Kentucky Opera will perform Amplify Songs of Remembrance on Sunday, May 18th at 4pm. Commemorating 80 years since the liberation of the Terezín concentration camp in May 1945, we remember those who suffered and perished at the hands of the Nazis in WWII. This Holocaust remembrance concert will include a performance of For a Look or a Touch by Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer, and Brundibár by Hans Krása — a short opera known to be performed by the incarcerated children of Terezín, among others.

Amplify Songs of Remembrance will take place at the Kentucky Opera Center for Cultural Health located in Downtown Louisville. The address is 708 Magazine St. Louisville, KY 40203. Street parking is available for free. Valet parking is available for a fee. The JCTC parking lot may be used: located at 825 Magazine St. Seating is General Admission for all Opera Center performances.
