The High School of Jewish Studies provides 9th thru 12th grade students with opportunities for personal and intellectual growth in their faith. Students in Adath Jeshurun, The Temple, Temple Shalom, and Keneseth Israel confirmation classes take part in HSJS classes. Academic offerings allow students to explore the experiences of the Jewish people, deepen their knowledge of Jewish thought and practices, and sensitize them to Judaism's values and concerns. The High School seeks to foster a positive adult Jewish identity and commitment to active participation in Jewish life.

Subjects include Israel, history, ethics, customs and laws, comparative religion, Talmud, Jewish music and Jewish philosophy. For more information, visit the HSJS website at www.louisvillehsjs.org.
