AJ Preschool is growing—we’re opening another 3-year-old classroom! We’re looking for 6–7 children to join our play-based, family-oriented preschool community. The Adath Jeshurun Preschool has been dedicated to children and childcare since 1953 and is one of only a few preschools in North America to receive the prestigious United Synagogue Solomon Schechter Award for excellence in early childhood education.
 
 
  • Our program is licensed by the Kentucky Cabinet for Human Resources and is evaluated annually by Division of Regulated Child Care.
  • Our student-teacher ratios are lower than the state minimum requirements.
  • All of our staff receives first aid and CPR training annually.
  • Every teacher participates in 15 hours of continuing education relevant to early childhood care every year.
Our very popular Infant Program accepts babies as young as six-weeks old. Children may attend the AJ Preschool through age 5. We offer early morning and extended afternoon hours, as well as summer childcare. AJ members receive a tuition discount.
