During this eight-day festival of freedom, Congregation Adath Jeshurun invites the congregation and the community to commemorate the transition from slavery into freedom. Below is a schedule of Passover events and links to make reservations.
Service for the First Born and Breakfast
Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 7:15 a.m.
It’s a Fast Day for the First Born unless you come to minyan, join the Cantor in completing a tractate of study (i.e. a Siyyum), then participate in a religious feast. Join us in the Yarmuth Chapel for minyan, then enjoy a lovely breakfast of bagels, lox and more sponsored in loving memory of Phyllis & Stuart Grossman. (And, of course, more than just the first born are warmly welcomed!)

Selling Your Chametz
Since ownership of chametz (bread and other leavened products) is not allowed during Pesach, ideally all chametz in one's possession would be given away or destroyed before the holiday begins. Since this often represents a financial hardship, the practice arose for people to store away their chametz before Pesach and arrange to sell it for the duration of the holiday. By filling out the form below, you are appointing Cantor David Lipp to arrange the sale on your behalf.
To sell your chametz, CLICK HERE and complete the online form. You may also sign up in the office during business hours or in the Library before and after minyan.
Worship Services
All services will take place in-person at Adath Jeshurun.
Morning services may be viewed on YouTube (all may be viewed on the AJ YouTube channel unless otherwise indicated).
Evening services may be viewed on Zoom. Links for all Zoom services available in AJ’s weekly email newsletter (subscribe here or contact the AJ office for the information).
