“We Belong Here, and We’re Here to Stay!” July is Disability Pride Month and marks the 35th anniversary of the signing of the American with Disabilities Act. On Saturday, July 5th after Shabbat Morning Services, AJ will host a Shabbat Scholar program on Disability Pride and Advocacy. AJ’s own Tyler Levy and Kristen Vincent will speak about their advocacy for Williams Syndrome and Pfeiffer Syndrome, respectively. Melanie Hughes will facilitate the discussion, adding her own insights about ADHD and neurodiversity.

The kiddush lunch will be sponsored by the Julie Olson Shabbat Scholar Fund.
