Adath Jeshurun is pleased to welcome Shabbat Scholars Dana Bachar Grossman and Avital Ben Dror from Partnership2Gether. Join them as they share their personal perspectives on life in northern Israel. For Israelis near the Lebanon border, war with Hezbollah feels inevitable. Due to their proximity to the border, more than 7,000 residents from eight communities in the Western Galilee have been evacuated since Oct 7. Dana and Avital will also share how Partnership2Gether programs continue to build a living bridge between the people of Louisville and the Western Galilee. 

Dana Bachar Grossman is an active volunteer with Partnership2Gether, currently the Israeli Chair of the Young Adults Committee. Dana is an Israeli and citizen of the world, lawyer, and international mediator, and founder of MeD8, which specializes in training and mentoring global companies on negotiation, crisis management and cultural intelligence.

Avital Ben Dror has worked with Partnership2Gether Western Galilee for the past 16 years. In her current position, Avital is the Community Engagement Committee Coordinator, overseeing volunteers and projects that connect Israel with the Jewish diaspora.
