We look forward to welcoming all of our members and guests to AJ’s 2023 High Holy Day Services! Below you will find helpful information for attendance at both in-person and livestreamed services.
LIVESTREAMED SERVICES
Prior to the High Holy Days, links to join livestreamed services will be emailed to those with reservations. Make sure that you save that email, as that is the only place where links will be provided. If you made livestreamed service reservations for family members who will not be viewing AJ’s services with you, please forward the link to them directly.
All AJ High Holy Day services will be livestreamed on YouTube. For the best experience, please restart your computer prior to the beginning of services each day.
Looking for livestream links? You need reservations. Contact the office before September 22 and we'll take care of you. Call 502-458-5359 or email smullins@adathjeshurun.com.
IN-PERSON SERVICES
The only entrance to the building will be through the Weisberg Family Entrance, which is the doors across from the Blue Family Rose Garden. The Woodbourne Avenue entrance will be closed. Reservations are required for attendance at all High Holy Day services. All AJ members and guests will check in at the Welcome Station as they enter the building.
Members who cannot afford the cost of a seat reservation are asked to contact Cantor David Lipp or AJ President Cybil Flora.
ADDITIONAL PARKING
St. Andrews Episcopal Church (2233 Woodbourne Avenue) has graciously given us permission to use their parking lot for High Holy Day Services. Enter their parking lot from Woodbourne Avenue.
In the Adath Jeshurun parking lot, please heed the no parking signs where posted to keep fire lanes clear and avoid trapping vehicles.
AJ Takes Your Safety Seriously
At the request of our security professionals, and to protect our members, the AJ Board passed the following motion by an overwhelming majority: “No weapons, including but not limited to firearms, are allowed on the premises by any person unless hired by the synagogue, or hired by a specific individual for security purposes, and approved in advance by the AJ Security Committee.” Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this policy.
