Tot Shabbat - May 4, 2024

Join us for Tot Shabbat at Adath Jeshurun on Saturday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m.

This 30-minute service is geared toward parents and little ones, ages 0-6. Grandparents and older siblings are welcome. Participants will pray, learn, hear stories, and then enjoy some kid-friendly food at the Shabbat Kiddush Lunch (including an ice cream sundae bar!).

Kindly RSVP using the form below so that AJ may prepare enough food for everyone.

Meet Rabbi David Bloom

The service will be led by Rabbi David Bloom. A Louisville native, Rabbi Bloom graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2014. He earned an MA in Hebrew Letters from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Cincinnati in 2018 and rabbinical ordination from the same institution in 2019. He then completed the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program of Bryn Mawr College and additional coursework in the sciences at various colleges and institutions.

An avid martial artist and tennis player, he counts tikkun olam and interfaith cooperation among his passions and enjoys teaching various Jewish subjects, offering pastoral care, and leading t’filah. Constantly seeking meaning and striving to do right, he aspires to combine the rabbinate with the practice of medicine.
